There are lots of photo viewers and editors out there - some of them even free. So what was the reason for me to create another one?
Like many people, I also do a lot of digital photography and I wasn't able to find a single photo viewer / browser I was really satisfied with. Most programs I used or tested were either too complicated or just plain ugly in their user interface (some even seem to come from an ancient time, like the 90s). None of them made use of the two-screen environment many users have nowadays - they all tried to integrate the preview into the main window or even allowed previewing only after selecting an image, not simultanously.
This program is created the way I always wanted it for myself: you can quickly index and view large image collections with a resizable thumbnail view and pick one of them for large view in a separate, resizeble viewer window.
But wait - there's a lot more: you can select a beautiful magnifier glass with changable magnification rate (drag mouse wheel) to see details of your image in the preview window at the best available detail level, independently from the size of the preview window!
You also can apply basic image editing operations like cropping, resizing, tilting, brightness, contrast and more; intuitively and with minimal time investment.
There is also an integrated slideshow viewer with a large collection of beautiful transition effects and other tools.
Give Photo Browser a try and have fun!

- 2.36 - Fixed batch processing module (stamp position, resizing when using EXIF rotation)

- 2.32 - Fixed batch processing function: very large image files caused an out-of-memory exception (so only the first files of a batch were processed) on resizing. Added a new option "Portrait Format same Height as Landscape Format", which makes portrait fotos the same height as landscape fotos of the same size. Longer side can now be up to 2000 pixels.
- 2.31 - Fixed printing function. JPG quality settings (50..100%) are now adjustable in smaller steps as well as saved and restored. Some minor adjustments and improvements.
- 2.3 - Photo Browser now supports virtually all RAW image formats as well as JP2 (JPG 2000), TIF/TIFF, TGA, PCX, ICO.
