Global Settings

Via the main menu you can call the Global Settings dialog, which manages the settings applying to the program as a whole, not individual timers.

The settings dialog window is divided into several groups:

Alarm

In this group you can select a sound file, which is played when an alarm fires. You can also set the alarm to silent, if you prefer. In the "Show popup" sub-group you set wether you want an alarm popup to show up always, never or only when the program window is hidden (minimized to the system tray). When you have selected a sound file, the playing length is displayed on the right side of the play button.

Timer design

Here you can choose a color scheme for the "LED" display of the timers. You can select one of the presets or choose your own colors from the color pickers. A live preview shows how the color scheme looks like, before you apply it.

You can also define a default background for every new timer, which is added to the window. Existing timers are not affected, unless you explicitely activate the "Apply now" checkbox. Title Background and Title Text will change the background and font color of the timer titles (description). This setting applies to existing timers and to new timers.

General settings

The general settings group includes different options that apply to the general behaviour of the program.

Background

The "Background" group applies to the window background (the area which is occupied by the timer controls). You can select an image as a wallpaper, either tiled (for small, geometrical patterns), or centered, for an image (photo) and / or a background color.
